What information is being collected?

The following data is stored with each access to the contents of this Internet offering:

  • Name of requested file,
  • Date and time of the request,
  • Transferred data quantity,
  • Error status and
  • IP address of requesting computer.

After 6 weeks, the access data is anonymised by deleting the IP address in the respective data records. The stored data is used exclusively for statistical purposes. The data is not passed on to third parties, neither in full nor in extracts. There is no comparison with other data records. In as far as there is an option to input personal or business data (email addresses, names, addresses) within the Internet offering, the user discloses this data expressly on a voluntary basis. Our data is treated confidentially and is not passed on to third parties.

We, the e-CODEX project, are collecting anonymized statistics to better track how and when our website is used. This helps us to provide a better and more engaging service to our users.

How it will be used?

Information collected during your visit will be used to personalize your use of our website. Anonymized statistics relating to website usage may be created. No personalized information will be shared with third parties.
The information you provide when signing up to our website will be used to contact you with project related information when available.

Who will it be shared with?

The data will only be used internally and will not be shared with third parties (non-EC). Anonymized statists will be provided to the EC upon request.
The information you provided when signing up to our newsletter will not be shared with third parties and is only used to disseminate project related information.

What are the data subjects rights?

Users can choose to turn of the cookie collection within their browser settings and opt-out of receiving the newsletter by contacting us.
